Pets are People, Too

Thanks to the folks over at www.patentlysilly.com for letting everyone know about a new invention for your pet, patent number 6,871,616 (pdf). The pet umbrella will keep "Fluffy" dry on those rainy walks. I found a place to buy a similar umbrella. Litterboy.com carries the model pictured at right.

Unfortunately for my dogs, this umbrella appears to be tailored to small dogs. Interestingly, the really small dogs can just ride in a pouch like the one in the picture on the right.

I guess this is a gift for someone that really has everything.
