photoblogging tool and oklahoma entrepreneur

Dr. Hester and I spoke at an entrepreneurial workshop last week on the subject of what entrepreneurs need to know about intellectual property.

The lunch keynote speaker was Kord Campbell who is an Oklahoma entrepreneur who previously created the Grub search engine (later sold to LookSmart) and who is currently working on a new project called Zoto.

According to their website, Zoto is described as:

Zoto lets you easily upload‚ organize and share your photos - all right from Zoto’s website.

Zoto's powerful drag and drop features will have you organizing your photos in minutes‚ and its blogging support will get you publishing to your blog in a snap.

Zoto works with Windows‚ Macintosh‚ and Linux‚ and provides support for an insane number of browsers.

The software supports Blogger, Movable Type, Wordpress, BBlog and TypePad blogs and they are looking for beta users to test and use the software.

Useful tool for bloggers and a good example of software entrepreneurialism in Oklahoma.
