INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY WEEK IN CHINA

According to the People's Daily, China has launched a week-long nationwide promotion aimed at boosting intellectual property awareness among the Chinese people.  The opening ceremony was held on Wangfujing, one of the busiest streets in Beijing and included "on the spot" discussions with passers-by.

The IP week festivities also coincide with the opening of an intellectual property rights "park" in Shanghai.
